POSITION: PLANNING & DESIGN OFFICER (BACKGROUND ARCHITECTURE / INTERIOR DESIGN)

  JOB SUMMARY
  The PnD Officer is responsible for executing planning and design tasks, preparing layout drawings and documentation, and contributing to design quality and project execution across store development and renovation projects.The role ensures that all design outputs comply with Jollibee brand standards, local regulations, and project requirements.
  Key responsibilities include conducting basic site surveys, producing layout and design drawings, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments, updating project documentation, and supporting the team in tracking design and construction progress to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
  The role also contributes to maintaining design quality, accuracy of documentation, and effective implementation of store development standards for the Jollibee Vietnam system.
  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Planning & Design Execution.

• Execute planning and design tasks independently based on approved plans, standards, and project requirements.
• Prepare accurate drawings, layouts, and design documentation in line with project timelines.
• Support site surveys, measurements, and data collection for project planning.
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed with quality, accuracy, and minimal rework.

1. Design Development & Improvement.

• Develop accurate and complete layout drawings and design solutions based on approved concepts, standards, and guidance from AM/Manager.
• Revise and refine design outputs based on feedback and project requirements.
• Contribute to optimizing design solutions to fit site conditions and operational requirements.
• Identify basic design issues and inconsistencies and propose practical improvements.
• Apply lessons learned from previous projects to improve design outputs.

1. Coordination & Issue Awareness.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to support smooth project execution.
• Track and follow up assigned tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate project updates, issues, and risks clearly to AM/Manager.
• Identify potential issues, inconsistencies, or coordination gaps during project execution.
• Proactively escalate issues and suggest initial solutions or actions when appropriate.

1. Compliance, Quality & Cost Awareness.

• Ensure compliance with approved design standards, guidelines, and project requirements.
• Check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before submission.
• Follow approved materials, specifications, and design standards during execution.
• Be aware of cost implications in design decisions and avoid unnecessary changes or rework.
• Identify design errors, inconsistencies, or inefficiencies and propose corrections.

1. Ownership, Work Quality & Team Contribution.

• Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring timely delivery and required quality standards.

• Maintain consistent and reliable work quality across all assigned projects.

• Execute tasks with accuracy and minimize errors or rework.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to support project delivery.

• Deliver outputs in alignment with team standards, timelines, and expectations.
  REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

• At least 3 years of experience in architectural design, interior design, layout planning, or store development.

• Experience working with design consultants, suppliers, or contractors.

• Experience in preparing layout drawings, technical documents, and project design packages.

• Understanding of basic construction processes and local building regulations.

• Certificates related to design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) are preferred.

• Strong skills in layout design, architectural drawing, and space planning.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design software.

• Ability to read, interpret, and prepare technical drawings.

• Understanding of brand design standards and store development principles

• Good documentation and file management practices.

• Primarily office-based with regular site visits as required.
